Hecuba still trapped in the bottle torments Timmy and turns him into different animals to prove she still has powers. As she tries to use her powers to escape, she causes Tabitha to drop the bottle into the harbor and it begins to float away. Gwen promises Ethan and Theresa a "special gift" for their wedding that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Theresa feels uneasy,and tells Ethan she does not want Gwen or Rebecca at their wedding. Eve tells everyone that the DNA results will take a while to interpret to buy herself some time. Alistair's spy in the hospital phones Alistair with the news that Eve is doing a DNA search. He gets Alistair tapped into the hospital computer. Alistair orders his spy to stop Eve from seeing the results. TC vows to Sam that if Julian had a baby with Eve he will kill him. Rebecca comforts Julian and gets him to stand up to his father. Julian tells Alistair that he will not kill Luis and Sheridan. He remembers a promise he made to his dying mother. He also crosses paths with Father Lonnigan who warns him not to give into the evil request. A furious Alistair tells Julian if he won't kill Luis and Sheridan the he'll do it himself and when he's done he will then kill Julian too. Sheridan nervously rattles on to Luis about commitment and Luis promises to take her to a place where they can find out if they are ready to commit to each other.

Hecuba's bottle floats away from Tabitha and Timmy. They are unable to retrieve it and fear what will happen if someone should find it and open it. At the docks, Julian is again warned by Father Lonnigan that his father, Alistair is up to something evil. They both hear Hecuba's cackling laughter. Later, Julian fishes Hecuba's bottle out of the harbor. Hecuba decides that Julian would make the perfect pawn for her. She dominates him with a spell and puts the idea into his head that he must kill Luis and Sheridan. Luis takes Sheridan to a Chinese restaurant and tells her they could put their love to a "test" that is Harmony tradition. They try to eat a long noodle without breaking it and meet in the middle for a kiss. This would mean they were meant to be together. A fearful Sheridan goes along with the "test" and is heartbroken when they fail, due to Hecuba's interference. Alistair's spy (an intern named Stevens) is ordered to cut the power at the hospital to stop Eve from viewing the DNA results. Chad comes up with a way to restore power. While Eve is terrified that TC suspects that she is Chad's mother.

Eve almost tells TC the truth about her past with Julian but the computer comes back on and interrupts them. She is visibly upset and TC is more sure now than ever that Chad is Eve and Julian's son. Stevens, Alistair's spy, thinks he has successfully erased the DNA results before they can be viewed. Ethan and Theresa run into Sheridan and Luis at the Chinese restaurant. Theresa reads her fortune and it says that there will be a wedding of 2 brides and 2 grooms. She takes this to mean that Luis and Sheridan will join them in a double wedding. Sheridan is uneasy about this after failing the "noodle test" with Luis. Tabitha and Timmy search for Hecuba's bottle and find out that "some man" was carrying it around. Tabitha fears what will happen if she is set free. Hecuba is still dominating Julian and plans on using him to spread her chaos all over Harmony. She sets her sights on Sheridan. Hecuba gets Julian to go to the Chinese restaurant. There she changes Sheridan's innocent fortune to read "You will never have children with the man you love." Sheridan is heartbroken.

Kay confides to Simone that she has sold her soul to Hecuba. Simone urges Kay to try to pray in order to win it back. Kay's soul has fallen into Tabitha's procession and she is wearing it around her neck. Reese,Simone,Kay and Miguel run into Tabitha at the Book Cafe where they are trying to come up with a plan to save Charity. Reese questions Tabitha about being near the mine shaft when he notices mud on her shoes. He is suspicious of her and Timmy. Hecuba delights in the pain she has caused Sheridan by changing her fortune. She also knows that Julian has been ordered by Alistair to kill Sheridan and Luis. She intends on helping Julian accomplish the murders. Alistair knows that Chad has Crane blood and orders Stevens to stop the results even if he has to blow up the hospital to do it. Stevens successfully stops the results from being shown and Eve tearfully tells Chad there is no match for his mother or father. TC is still skeptical but Sam assures him that it is all in his imagination. Grace once again tells Sam they have no future unless he resolves things with Ivy. Julian orders at the Chinese restaurant unaware that her is being dominated by Hecuba . She then orders him to kill Sheridan and Luis. Hecuba causes Ethan and Theresa to fail the "noodle test." She then gets Chad and Whitney to stop at the restaurant so they can become her next victims to torment.

Simone urges Kay to pray for the return of her soul. Tabitha fears that Reese is suspicious of her and plans to stay out of his way. Kay's soul begins to pull Tabitha back to the Book Cafe where Kay is praying. She is reluctant to let go of the soul because she plans on using it in the future. It begins to choke Tabitha. Kay feels that the prayers will do no good and stops praying to Tabitha's relief. Miguel, Reese, Kay and Simone pray to help Charity. The angel appears to Miguel and tells him to have faith. That his faith can still save her. Julian is enjoying his meal at the Chinese restaurant, unaware the owners are serving him catfood. As he gazes out the window, he sees an alive Timmy once again. Theresa gets a new fortune, courtesy of Hecuba. It says "you will marry in the spring to a man who is with you now." Theresa takes this to mean Ethan but Hecuba has other ideas of who Theresa will be married to. Chad and Whitney join Ethan and Theresa at the restaurant. Hecuba zaps Whitney's fortune to say"you will experience the love of a brother." Chad's fortune says " the love you give will destroy the one you love." They are both puzzled by their fortunes. Hecuba has evil plans for everyone in Harmony. She knows that Chad really is Julian's biological son. Sam tells TC to come clean to Eve about his suspicions. Eve wants to tell TC about her son and admits to Grace a part of her is disappointed that Chad was not actually her son.
